Bishop Chris & Teri Moody
Bishop Chris and Teri have a strong passion for the Pastor, Minister and Laity of the Heartland Region. Bishop Moody is coming with a wealth of knowledge from serving as Administrative Bishop of Mississippi for 4 years, USA Missions Department as the Financial Development Director at International Offices in Cleveland, TN as well as pastoring the South Cleveland Church of God for several years. He also served on the State Council in Texas and Tennessee as well as the Executive Council for 4 years.
Bishop Chris and Teri Moody have three children, Blake, Karley and Avery as well as two grandchildren, Emory and Marcie.

WHO IS THE HEARTLAND REGION?
The Heartland Region Church of God serves as the regional office for Church of God congregations and ministries throughout Oklahoma and Kansas. Our mission is to strengthen the local church, develop leaders, and advance the Kingdom of God throughout the Heartland and beyond.
+ STATEMENT OF IDENTITY
The Heartland Region Church of God is part of the Church of God, an international Pentecostal movement with headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Rooted in Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are a fellowship of churches and ministers committed to proclaiming the full gospel of Jesus Christ. Throughout Oklahoma and Kansas, the Heartland Region exists to serve, equip, encourage, and connect local churches and ministry leaders as together we fulfill the Great Commission.
We believe strong churches build strong communities, and through Spirit-empowered ministry, discipleship, evangelism, and compassionate service, we are committed to reaching people with the hope of Jesus Christ.

The mission of the Heartland Region Church of God is to advance the Kingdom of God by strengthening churches, equipping ministers, developing leaders, and reaching people with the full gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the Spirit and power of Pentecost, we are committed to the centrality of God’s Word, evangelism, discipleship, church growth and planting, ministerial development, missions, biblical stewardship, family ministry, and servant leadership.
Our desire is to empower every church and every leader in the Heartland Region to fulfill their God-given mission and make a lasting Kingdom impact in their community and beyond.

The Heartland Region Church of God is blessed with a leadership team committed to serving our ministers, churches, and communities with excellence and integrity. Together, they carry a shared passion to strengthen pastors, equip leaders, and advance the mission of the Church throughout our region. Their heart is to encourage connection, cultivate growth, and provide support for every generation of ministry. We are grateful for their faithful leadership and their continued commitment to seeing the Heartland Region move forward in faith, unity, and purpose.

Our heart is to encourage connection, cultivate growth, and provide support for every generation of ministry. Through a variety of ministries, events, training opportunities, and resources, the Heartland Region seeks to equip churches and leaders to serve effectively in their local communities. From children and students to adults, families, pastors, and ministry leaders, our desire is to create opportunities for spiritual growth, meaningful relationships, and lasting impact. Together, we are committed to strengthening the local church and advancing the mission of the Church of God throughout the Heartland Region.
